The 7 Pot Primo is a cross between a Naga Morich and a Trinidad 7 Pot pepper. It was created by Troy Primeaux, (nickname Primo), a horticulturist from Louisiana. He began crossing the Naga Morich and Trinidad 7 Pot seeds around 2005.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The 7 Pot Primo has a scorpion-like tail. The skin has the characteristic bumpy and pimply skin of other superhot chili peppers, though the tail is most characteristic. The pods can grow rather lumpy, as if they are mildly deformed versions of normal 7 pot peppers. It normally matures to a vibrant red color, though there are also orange and yellow varieties of this pepper.
