These general conditions apply to the sale of products marketed by this entity. These general conditions of sale define, in particular, the conditions of ordering, payments, delivery and management of any exchanges or returns of products requested by customers.
The fact of placing an order implies the client's prior knowledge and full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. No particular condition can, except formal and written acceptance, prevail over these general conditions of sale.
3. Exchanges and Returns
The exchange and return of articles is accepted within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt, provided that they have not been used and are returned in the conditions in which they were sent. The direct costs of the exchange or return are the responsibility of the customer. The direct costs of returns, as well as those related to exchanges or requests for repair, will always be the customer's responsibility. In cases where the returned product or products are damaged, they will not be considered in the return.
Payment for orders must be made before delivery of products using one of the accepted payment methods. The ordered products will be reserved for a maximum period of 48 hours after placing the order until receipt of proof of payment and validation.
5. Accepted payment methods
We accept payments by Bank Wired Transfer, PayPal or Credit Card.
Picantes,pt undertakes to deliver worldwide, within a maximum period of 2 working days to ship your package, reserving the delivery time depending on the quickness of the transport company and ensuring the correct shipment of the goods. In the event of a stockout, deliveries will be made depending on the delivery and stock replenishment deadlines.
7. Warranty and liability
All product returns must comply with clause 3 of these general conditions and are not responsible in any case for damage caused by the deficient use of the product sold.
8. Protection of personal data
The security and confidentiality of personal data provided by the client is guaranteed. The data provided will be incorporated into a computerized file under the exclusive responsibility of Picantes.pt for the purpose of sending information about orders and other proprietary promotions.
9. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed, both for their interpretation and for their execution, by Portuguese Law. The jurisdiction of the Comarca de Lisboa will be the only one competent in the event of a dispute to resolve any and all issues related to this sales contract concluded with a customer.
10. Extrajudicial Resolution of Consumer Disputes
In the event of a dispute the consumer may resort to an Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity for consumption.
